FAQ

Common questions

How is this different from a 100 Club?
The 12th Man is open-ended — anyone can join at any time. A 100 Club is capped at a fixed number of members (100, 200, 500) and is more like a private syndicate. Both work; the 12th Man scales better.
What happens if a supporter’s payment fails?
They’re removed from that month’s draw automatically. Stripe handles the dunning. Most failures self-recover within a week.
Do we need a licence?
It depends on whether you structure it as a society lottery or a free prize draw. Robin will help you pick the right route based on your size and setup.
How do we keep members engaged month after month?
Vary the prize. One month cash, next month signed shirts, next month a behind-the-scenes experience. The variety is what keeps churn low.
What does it cost?
Our standard fee is 15%, only when you raise. No setup, no subscriptions on our side.
