ClubZap is genuinely strong at club admin — membership, merchandise, team fees, event ticketing all in one platform with a custom-branded mobile app. If you NEED that broader club-management surface, ClubZap is a great choice. PFW is the right call if fundraising IS the priority and you'd rather use specialist platforms (Mailchimp, Stripe, Eventbrite) for the broader club admin.

ClubZap's published fee is 3.75% + 10p transaction fee (inc. VAT) plus a monthly subscription fee (custom quote — typically £50–£150/month based on plan tier). PFW is a 15% platform fee plus Stripe processing at 1.5% + 20p, with zero subscription and nothing to pay until you raise. On pure percentages ClubZap can work out cheaper at volume — but the products differ: PFW's fee includes the draw compliance work, prize administration and the fundraising engine ClubZap doesn't provide, and grassroots clubs can pay what they feel under our grassroots offer.
