Event Production Awards and Event Production Show Partner with Music Support for Fundraising Draw

Draws for the events will be hosted through our digital fundraising platform.

Music Support has been announced as the partner charity of Mash Media’s upcoming Event Production Awards on 17 February and the Event Production Show on 8-9 March.

Music Support is a charity that provides help and support to those who work in UK music and live events affected by mental ill-health and/or addiction. Founded in 2016 by people from within the music industry with lived experiences of those conditions, it aims to improve prevention and ensure that peers do not feel alone and can access help to initiate and maintain recovery. The organisation provides peer-led helpline support, education and training and signposting to a network of vetted and approved professionals and crisis support workers. Music Support chief executive Eric Mtungwazi said, “The global pandemic has had a devastating impact on the music and live events industries from performers to the thousands who work alongside them, with many still unable to return to work. We are incredibly grateful to The Event Production Awards and the Event Production Show for choosing Music Support as their partner charity, raising vital funds and awareness to help us to support our peers who work in music and live events affected by mental ill-health and/or addiction.”

Through the collaboration, EPS have also collaborated with Play Fund Win. We will be coordinating fundraising prize draws with exclusive prizes at both the Event Production Awards and the Event Production Show to raise further funds for the charity.

The first of these draws, held in conjunction with the Event Production Awards has an incredible prize package on offer, which includes:

  • A pair of tickets to see Grammy and Academy Award-nominated rock band Counting Crows play at Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith on Friday 25th March 2022.
  • Hospitality tickets for four people at Soccer Aid 2022
  • 2 x tickets to an event/concert of your choice, from March 2022 – to Dec 2022 in the intimate setting of the indigo at the O2, courtesy of indigo at the O2
  • A pair of weekend camping tickets to Black Deer Festival, the award-winning three-day celebration of Americana, its music and the culture that surrounds it. Taking place in the stunning setting of Eridge Park in Kent from 17th – 19th June 2022.
  • Madness Can’t Touch Us Now signed vinyl – this is the 12th and last (so far!) album from the multi-award-winning Camden Town ska icons and has been signed by all members of the band. There are only five of these exclusive vinyl’s in existence so it is a must for any music fan.

Tickets packages start at just £5. Find out more about the draw here. Details on the Event Production Show Prize Draw will be shared closer to next month’s event.

The Event Production Awards return to Novotel London West on 17 February, followed by the Event Production Show on 8-9 March at ExCeL London.
