We are raising funds in the Wandgas Sensory Garden Fundraising Draw to develop a corner of our grounds at Wandgas into an area for a Sensory Garden.
We are currently working with teachers and parents from Linden Bridge School and Orchard Hill College to introduce children and adults with special needs to nature and the rhythms of the seasons through gardening.
Linden Bridge School is a Surrey maintained Special Education Needs School for pupils with autistic spectrum disorders and social communication difficulties. The school caters for children aged 4 to 19 years.
Orchard Hill is a specialist college committed to offering social and vocational opportunities for students in the heart of their communities who pride themselves on building bright futures and changing the lives of our students, their programmes are designed for students over the age of 16 with a range of special needs.
The sensory garden will also provide a place for our Football for All teams’ players to develop other skills and several of the players and their families are helping build this garden (photos attached).
50% of profits from every ticket sold will to funding the garden, with the remaining 50% of profits contributing to a cash jackpot which one entrant is guaranteed to win from this draw.
Once you have entered the draw, please do share this page with your friends, family, colleagues and anyone else who you think would be happy to support this fantastic cause and have the chance to win!
