Support Dr Kershaw’s Hospice by entering The Strictly Comedy Prize Draw!
On 11th March David Broadbent and Lorraine Robinson will be taking part in the Strictly Kershaw’s dance event at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham. Neither David or Lorraine have ever danced in their lives (aside from nightclubs in the late 90s early 2000s) and need to learn a jive to perform in front of 350 people and a panel of judges!
This event is taking place to generate much needed funds for the running of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, which provides care for those with life limiting illnesses within the Oldham area. The hospice itself costs £9,000 to run each day, and the 100% of net proceeds raised from this draw will go directly to supporting this fantastic cause.
Lorraine, along with Colin Manford, runs Plane Comedy, and David is a stand-up comedian, so it was natural for them to put together a comedy event and draw to help hit their sponsorship target. They have secured some fantastic comedy-related prizes, with tickets up for grabs to see some of the best comedians in the UK.
All support is greatly appreciated, there’s some brilliant prizes and the money raised goes to a fantastic organization doing great work in the Oldham area
